Aloha! I am Rebecca and I have been lucky enough to work at HLA since 2012. I am responsible for everything from attendance to putting a bandaid on a scrapped knee and much more. I truly love the environment here at our little school and take pride in getting to know every child. I grew up here in Gainesville and attended several “big schools” and can honestly say HLA is one of a kind.
I am happily married to my husband Ray and we have two energetic HLA students, Corinne & Victoria, one little man Mac and my sweet baby Esper, as well as a very bossy Australian Cattle Dog named Lucy and a sweet silly ACD/Pit mix named Donut. When I’m not working hard for Healthy Learning Academy I am can usually be found putting glitter on something, spending time with my family, and being outside as much as possible.
