Kate Bowser
School counselor
Hello, my name is Kate Bowser, and I am excited to be Healthy Learning Academy’s School Counselor! I was born and raised here in Gainesville, FL. I attended the University of Florida for my undergraduate studies, where I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology. I then moved to Williamsburg, Virginia, to earn my Master’s in Counseling from The College of William & Mary.
I love being back in my hometown, where I have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful students and families. My role at Healthy Learning Academy involves supporting students’ emotional and social well-being, providing guidance on academic and personal development, and fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
In my free time, you can find me browsing the shelves of local bookstores, cheering on the Gators, or soaking up the sun with my rescue dog Milo.
